Established in 1979, the Wisconsin Association of Land Conservation Employees (WALCE) is a non-profit organization of county personnel with varied responsibilities in the fields of land and water conservation. Members of WALCE are frontline professionals employed by Wisconsin counties to conduct local programs aimed at the conservation of soil, water and other related natural resources. WALCE members often work in cooperation with other local, state and federal conservation agencies and organizations.
